Following the simple, eerie aesthetic championed by indie gems like Limbo and Badland, Darklings creates an unsettling, but lovely atmosphere through sharp black-and-white contrasts. This stunning visual design is accompanied by a dark, whimsical score reminiscent of the songs in Tim Burton films. All of these design elements work together to create a seamless, dreamlike experience unlike any other game. Another great thing about Darklings is the gameplay. The point of the game is to keep the Darklings from touching you by replicating the gestures on their foreheads with the swipe of your finger. If they touch you, it's game over. Each Darkling you stop releases some stars into the air. You need to drag the stars to Lum in order to collect them. Use these stars to buy yourself another life, a new costume, or an upgrade in the store. This game can be really difficult. Wave after wave of Darklings will wear you down, and it's pretty hard to collect enough stars for another life. One of the game's major faults is the shoddy tutorial they give you in the beginning. Darklings Cheats #1

• One of the most important things to do in this game is collect the stars.
• Unfortunately, the stars aren't automatically collected. You need to drag them to you in order to get them. This can be difficult to do with all of the Darklings, but it's a necessity.
• Stars will give you everything from more lives to fun costumes, so make sure to stay on top of the stars.

Darklings Cheats #2

• When you have multiple Darklings approaching you at once, focus on the Darkling closest to you.
• Hitting the first Darkling will send the other Darklings spiraling backward, giving you enough space to collect yourself. It's important to keep some distance between you and them.

Darklings Cheats #3

• Sometimes, the amount of Darklings on one side of the screen can be pretty intimidating. If you don't want to deal with them, look to the other side of the screen.
• If there are a lot of Darklings on one side, there's usually only a few on the other side. Swipe the gestures for the small number of Darklings. This will push you away from the big crowd and give you some space.

Darklings Cheats #4

• Power-ups are your friend, so keep an eye out for them.
• They are hard to spot, but they will boost the number of stars you collect, as well as destroy all of the Darklings around you.

Darklings Cheats #5

• When it comes to bosses, the best thing to do is swipe the gestures closest to the ground.
• Bosses usually throw a whole variety of symbols at you, so just keep swiping the gestures you know. Taking a moment to identify them will do you more harm than good.

• After a few waves of Darklings, this game gets pretty damn hard.
• Just keep collecting stars. Reviving yourself is a huge part of getting a high score, so the more stars you have, the more revive opportunities you'll have.
