Crappy Bird Cheats & Hints

Crappy Bird cheats, tips, hints, and walkthroughs for the newest member of the dysfunctional Flappy Bird clan! Developed by Josh Brown and Signal Boost Games, Crappy Bird takes the tap-to-flap style of its predecessors and turns it on its head. In Crappy Bird, you tap to crap -- seriously, that's the whole point of the game. Time each tap so that your bird's crap hits the cars driving beneath it. This fun and engaging game is available for free on all Android and iOS devices, including iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone. Trouble splattering windshields? You've come to the right place! Read on for more Crappy Bird cheats and hints! Although inspired by the Flappy Bird mania, Crappy Bird stands apart from most of the knockoff crap (sorry, I'm not sorry) filling up the app stores these days. The genius of the game lies in how it mocks not only a whole genre of flapping games, but itself as well. It's not taking anything too seriously, and that self-awareness makes the game remarkably fun to play. Although, as you can imagine, the gameplay is borderline ridiculous. From time to time it will dawn on you that the sun is shining, there are people who care about you, and you're holed up in your room navigating the crap of a pixelated bird. But if you can get over that, it's a good time. The game is much easier than its other counterparts. You don't have to worry about controlling a mildly handicapped bird through impossible obstacles. Instead, you get to take your time and really plan when to release the bird's poop. Hitting your targets can be a bit difficult, but not in a frustrating way. The bird moves in a gentle sine wave motion that is sort of pleasing, and the cars passing beneath follow a pretty simple pattern. Once you find a rhythm, you will crap with ease. Though doing well in this game requires some skill, Cool Apps Man has compiled a list of Crappy Bird cheats and tips to help you out!

Crappy Bird Tip #1

  • The hardest thing about this game is finding your rhythm, but it's essential that you do if you want to succeed.
  • Your bird maintains the same rising and falling pace throughout the game, so try to gauge how long it takes to hit a target from high above and down below.
  • Adjusting for car distances can be taxing: if they are close together, you need to tap pretty quickly; if they are far apart, you need to wait a moment before tapping.
  • Let your pace come naturally. Thinking about it too much will only screw you up.

Crappy Bird Tip #2

  • When your bird is low, it will hit its target pretty quickly.
  • At this height, you need to tap the screen when the bird is right above the hood of the car.

Crappy Bird Tip #3

  • When the bird is at the peak of its flight or on the rise, you need to account for the distance between it and the car and try to figure out how long it will take to hit its target.
  • The best way to approach this scenario is to tap when the car is just below the number at the top of the screen. There the car is not yet under the bird, but its close enough that you wont overshoot it.

Crappy Bird Tip #4

  • The number at the top of the screen should always serve as a reference point for you.
  • The closer you are to the number at the top, the longer it will take for you to hit your target.
  • Also keep track of how close the cars are to the number when you hit them.
  • Paying attention to these details will help anchor you later in the game, when you start to doubt and question yourself.

Crappy Bird Tip #5

  • As with all games in the Flappy Bird genre, you need to be patient. You're going to lose a lot, often in embarrassing ways.
  • Take a deep breath, learn from your mistakes, and open your mind to the possibility of future success.
