Chain Of Thought, a popular game on the iTunes marketplace this week, is a trivia-type game that tests the player’s ability to connect the dots. The dots, however, are not actually dots – they’re words.
Chain Of Thought gives the player a single word, and a list of corresponding terms. From the first word, the player must choose the word from the list that best connects to the original word. So, for example, if the game started players off with the word “butter”, and then proceeded to give a list of words like “paper”, “fly”, and “game”…obviously the best connecting word would be “fly”, to make “butterfly”. If the player chooses the correct word, they are awarded points. If not, the player loses points.
The word chosen, the correct one anyway, becomes the new word and the player has to choose from the remaining words on the list. Example? From “butter” and “fly”, the new word would be “fly”. Let’s say the correct word after that would be “paper” to make “fly paper”. The game works very much like a bicycle.
Some of the words are a little confusing, but once you get a hang of it Chain Of Thought can be quite the time-consumer
