Keep a dictionary handy
- Much as you would for scrabble, it may be a good idea to keep a dictionary close by whether it's a physical copy or digital.
- Not only will it help you nail the spelling, but it will be a great tool in discovering new words.
- If you do not have one handy and can't find a word, just try to get lucky by plugging in random letters. you never know what could actually be a word.
Stretch directly
- The entire goal of the game is to stretch your letters to an opponent's base.
- Therefore, try and build your words directly towards the opposing base.
- In other words, try not to fuss to much with building your words across unless you have to.
Have two options
- While it's great to build strait towards the enemy base, it's also a very solid idea to have a backup plan.
- If you can easily build another string of words away from your original, do so.
- This way, you will have another way to go if your opponent suddenly blocks you.
Play defense
- As mentioned before, usually you just want to build towards the opposing base.
- However, if your enemy is coming in hot, you may need to think fast and block them
- So, if need be, forget about your own string and switch over to theirs.
