My name is Connor Wall, and I’m currently in the second year of my degree in Business & Management Studies with Law at Cardiff Metropolitan University. As part of my course I’m required to work with a local small business, and to help them with their marketing needs.
I’m working with a business called ‘We Love Beards’ (that is their real name!), and they run a number of football websites and have just released their first app, which is available on both the Apple and Android markets.
The business was set up with help from the Prince’s Trust, and I know he’s put a lot of effort into establishing all the sites and getting the app made.
I’m getting in touch today to see if you’d be interested in possibly reviewing the app they have released. It’s called ‘Weekly Football Quiz’ and is a free app that gives users the chance to tackle fifty new questions every week.
The questions are split up with 25 new ones (on the latest football news, results, players etc) and 25 classic questions which tackle subjects from years gone by. Unlike other quizzes that have a short shelf life, as when you answer all the questions that’s usually it, Weekly Football Quiz is updated every Sunday, and offers users a completely new set of questions.
Early reaction to the app has been extremely positive, with 5 star reviews so far. People appreciate the amount of questions you get for a free app, and how relevant the quiz is seen as though half of the questions are about events that happened the week before.
