The mechanics of Top Quiz function as so: Players challenge friends or random opponents, a category of quizzing is then selected, and the questions are asked. Each player plays through the same round, and whoever answers the questions in the least amount of time wins. Generally it only takes a couple of seconds to answer, and to reward players that answer questions particularly quickly Top Quiz has implemented a system of bonuses that award players some odd number of points if – say – they answer a question in under five seconds.
