The Idiot Test and its installments have kind of a cool story. The app began as a browser .swf game back in 2006. That was when Ryan Curtis, the game’s developer, released the first installment of The Idiot Test.
Since 2006, Ryan Curtis has teamed up with NexxStudio to release an iOS version of the wildly popular game. NexxStudio is responsible for other apps like Bloom Box and Glow Puzzle. The Idiot Test 3 is the third version of the game to be released and the first to be available as a iOS app!
Game play varies but essentially you are given an instruction and you have to follow it. Sometimes, it’s as simple as tapping the right shape, sometimes you’ll have to repeat patterns and other times it requires some logic and thought. The game definitely requires your full concentration.
The Idiot Test 3 has some cool features that other level games lack and some of that comes from its origins. Certain levels have passwords, which means that if you make it through the first three levels and then lose, you don’t have to start your play again from scratch, you can bypass levels you’ve passed before.
The Idiot Test 3 is faced spaced and there’s an in-game timer (although there’s no time limit to complete levels). There are no in-app purchases for hints for the game so if you’re stuck on a level, well, you’re gonna have to use trial and error to figure it out. There are 9 levels, each with multiple stages, and while level 1 and 2 may not challenge you, The Idiot Test 3 does a great job of getting more and more challenging. How do you get passed the largest duck and smallest duck level? I have pressed each duck and no can do. Large duck has a bomb underneath him. All smaller ducks look the same. I have tried pressing largest and small duck together. HELP !!!!

Click on the big duck, click on the safe, a bomb will appear, and a small duck will appear on the lower right, click on it before the bomb goes off.
