Slayin Cheats, Tips, and Walkthrough Guide

Slayin has arrived on Cool Apps Man with everything you need to know to get started, including a walkthrough guide! From FDG Entertainment, Slayin is described the worlds first endless action RPG. In Slayin, players can assume the roles of various heroes to slay enemies in endless side-scroller levels! In each level, the player fights monsters as long as possible until they die. Slayin is available for $0.99 on the App Store for all iOS devices, including iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad. Download from iTunes In Slayin, players can assume the role of up to six unique heroes. Each hero has different weapons, skills, and attributes that equate to very different playing styles for the player. The objective for each level is simple: slay as many monsters as possible without dying. The level structure in Slayin is even simpler, and are closed side-scrolling levels. This means that the player's movements are restricted to moving left, right, and jumping. Left, Right, and Jump are also the only controls on the screen during gameplay, because each hero attacks automatically by touching monsters with their weapon. Whenever a monster is killed, they will yield XP and drop coins and jewels. This is where the RPG portion of the game comes in, because the player can use coins to buy upgrades such as new weapons, armor, and boosters during the level. When the player dies, they will earn a number of Fame Points for playing the level, which is calculated by how many monsters and bosses were killed. Fame Points can then be spent later at the Tavern in the Main Menu. Read on for a walkthrough guide on Slayin!

When you open the game, there are three options in the main menu: Start, Tavern, and Graveyard. Start is how to get to the action. There is a choice of three game modes, Normal, Advanced, and Boss Rush. Upon clicking the game mode you want, you will be able to choose your character from a list of six: Knight, Wizard, Knave, Archer, Tamer, and Ninja. Characters are rated by Attack, Defense, and Luck, and have individual play styles. For example, when playing as the Knight one only needs to rush towards enemies and touch them with the Knight's sword to kill them. Normal Mode is the most basic style of play. Monsters spawn either on the ground or in the air, and when a certain number of monsters are killed, a boss will appear that must be slain a specific way. Advanced Mode is like Normal Mode, but you start the game at level 81. This means that right off the bat the game will be fast-paced and difficult. Lastly, Boss Rush Mode is a game mode where the player tries to defeat all the bosses in succession, as fast as possible.

The Tavern is the shop for all your in-game add-ons. In the Tavern there are various merchants, the Tailor, the Gravedigger, the Barkeep, and the Bard, that sell add-ons for certain amounts of Fame Points. The Tailor sells new music and game interfaces; the Gravedigger sells customizable headstones for your fallen heroes; the Barkeep sells new heroes and game modes; and the Bard sells poems written in your honor. The Graveyard is where you can revisit your fallen heroes by looking at their headstones. Each headstone displays the type of hero played as, the total amount of points earned, and the level that they were when they died. Slayin is a game with a lot to offer. The gameplay fast paced and challenging, and it is incredibly fun to slaughter hordes of enemies. Boss battles offer a nice intermission from the normal gameplay, and there are a number of add-ons that can be bought to keep things new and interesting. For only $0.99, it is a must have for anyone's collection.
