Paperama Cheats and Tips

Paperama cheats and tips will make all the difference in this tough new puzzle game for mobile devices! Whether you use an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or an Android device, Paperama can offer you the best virtual origami experience on the market. Practice the delicate art of Japanese paper-folding from the comfort of your phone and tablet. You can develop real origami skills with this game while accumulating achievements. How many hundreds of ways can you fold a paper square? Lose yourself in this simple but elegant simulation. Read on for our Paperama cheats when you get stuck. Paperama is developed by FDG Entertainment, a German game company with a diverse lineup of titles. You may recognize their previous games, like Blueprint 3D. Like Blueprint, Paperama is an easy game to learn, but an exceptionally difficult one to master. The controls are simple: just touch the on-screen "paper" to fold it into the shape indicated by the dotted lines. You only have a limited number of moves, though, so efficiency is key! Luckily, the game will give you points every few levels which you can use to buy hints. Even so, some levels are just too hard to get through on your own! It's a good thing this paper can be unfolded and re-folded as many times as you want. Try thinking outside the box (figuratively)! If any levels are just too much for you to handle, though, you can always take a look at these Paperama cheats and tips.

Paperama Cheats #1: Line Up Your Edges

  • The early tutorial levels are a good place to work on your precision. You get more points for folding exactly inside the lines.
  • It's tough to get 100% on any level if you have a small screen. If you have access to a tablet, play Paperama there. Otherwise, make sure you keep a close eye on the Score percentage in the top left corner.
  • Try twisting your finger around in a circle if you're just a few points away from perfection.

Paperama Cheats #2: Choose Your Drags Wisely

  • Different folds will call for you to drag the paper from different points. It's important to recognize when it's best to drag from a corner and when it's better to drag from an exposed side.
  • In the example above, our player should be dragging from a side instead of a corner. It'll be easier to line up each edge this way.

Paperama Cheats #3: Big Moves Come First

  • This is the most generally applicable tip in the game. Your first moves should get rid of as much surface area of the paper you can cover.
  • In level 3, all of your moves will make the paper half as big as it was before. Fold straight down to make a rectangle, then to the right to make a quarter-size square. Your last move will be to fold the square into a triangle from the corner.
  • Each of these moves gets rid of half of the paper, so you can quickly make the tiny triangle you need. Remember, you only have a few turns to complete any of these levels.

Paperama Cheats #4: Use Your Hints

  • After every five levels, you'll get a few hint points. Spending hint points will cause the game to make the most advantageous move it can.
  • If you're having trouble with a level and you don't know where to start, use a hint point for your first move. This will start you off with the strongest hint possible.

Paperama Cheats #5: Replay Imperfect Levels

  • There's always room for improvement! If you're missing a star in any level, retry it until you get above the minimum score.
  • It might be less fun to replay a level than to advance to the next one, but the practice you get in the meantime will be invaluable.
