MonsterCrafter Walkthrough Guide
While MonsterCrafter gives new players a short tutorial, there is still a lot in the game left unexplained. This walkthrough guide from Cool Apps Man will clear up any confusion that you may have!
When you start up the game, you will be taken to a main menu that has the major features of the game: Shop, Monsters, Battle, and Friend.
The Shop:
The Shop is a store filled with in-app purchases available to make, and consists of various different things. Here you can buy more gold, diamonds, and items to further customize your monster. Also, every twenty-four hours you will be given a free gift that presents itself in a block-breaker mini-game. Break all the blocks until you can tap the gift to get it. Gifts can be anything from gold bonuses to more diamonds.
The Monsters Menu:
This takes you to the vault: the place where your monsters live outside of battle. Using gold and diamonds you can buy a number of additional vaults so you can create more monsters. When you start the game, the tutorial will take you to the vault to create your first monster. This monster can be either Fire, Water, or Plant-type, however, when you buy more vaults, you will have the option to create monsters of any type: Fire, Water, Plant, Rock, Electric, and even Alien! Building monsters of Fire, Water, and Plant-type is relatively cheap: only 300 gold. However, other types cost more money: Rock is 900 gold, Electric is 3,900 gold, and Alien is 10,500 gold. We will get more into the advantages and disadvantages of the various types of monsters later on.
In addition to housing and building new monsters, the vault is where you can train, edit, share, and even destroy your monster. Train your monster by feeding them, petting them, or playing mini-games with them, such as fetch, rock-paper-scissors or slot machines, where you can win gold and other prizes. Feeding your monster costs gold, but you are going to want to keep it properly fed and hydrated if you want it to do well in battle. Petting your monster, playing with it, and picking up after it keeps it happy and will also positively impact your performance in battle. The edit feature is where you can change the appearance of your monster and continue to build it. The share feature allows you to take screenshots of your monster and save them or email them.
