The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic Reloaded Guide
What does Pudding Panic offer for levels? The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic offers 60 levels that span across five different worlds: Black Forest, Purple Mines, Sleepy Graces, Dark Castle, and Mad Science. Each world consists of 12 levels. You start the game on Black Forest, and can progress to the other worlds by earning enough VIP tokens. What will I face during levels? During levels you will face many obstacles before making it to the finish. Enemies such as witches, skeletons, and knights will try to frighten you and make you lose courage (your health). Also, the rail track is never a straight shot to the finish, and you will need to adjust the tracks accordingly by using various combinations of Track Changers and Rail Rotors. Along the way you can pick up pink tokens, VIP tokens, and valerian drops. Pink tokens are used to reload your weapons, VIP tokens can be spent on a number of things in the shop, and valerian drops are used on the spot to refill your courage. What happens when I die? Your courage bar is the equivalent to a health bar, and when it reaches zero, your pudding will be so frightened that it falls off the tracks. However, depending on how many lives you have, you will either be able to respawn where you fell off or have to replay the whole level. What are VIP tokens and how can I use them? VIP tokens are the premier form of currency in Pudding Panic Reloaded, and you get get them in multiple ways. One way is by beating level objectives such as finishing a level before a certain time or by finishing a level without losing any courage. Another way to get VIP tokens is by completing missions, the objectives that are completed over the course of several levels. Lastly, every now and then levels will have VIP tokens on the rails that can be picked up; however, they have a timer on them, so you need to reach them quickly or else they will disappear!
What kinds of weapons are there? There are two groups of weapons, weapons that are bought with pink tokens and weapons that are bought with VIP tokens. The weapons that are bought with pink tokens are unlocked naturally by beating levels, and are bought in-game with the pink tokens you have collected for that level. There are four weapons that are bought with pink tokens:
- Viper Punch (50 tokens): The Viper Punch sends a striking snake head out from the front of your railcar that knocks enemies off of the tracks.
- Booster (25 tokens): The Booster speeds up your railcar's pace for a few seconds
- Rat Racer (75 tokens): The Rat Racer sends a wind-up rat across the tracks that seeks out enemies and knocks them off.
- Shelter Bag (100 tokens): The Shelter Bag covers your pudding with a paper bag so that it can't get frightened by enemies and lose courage.
In addition to the four weapons that are bought with pink tokens there are four weapons that are bought with VIP tokens in the shop. When you buy any of these weapons, you may use them up to three times before you need to buy them again.
- Super Rat Racer (2 VIP tokens): The Super Rat Racer runs along the rails scaring up to 2 enemies that cross its path.
- Mega Rat Racer (3 VIP tokens): The Mega Rat Race runs along the rails scaring up to 3 enemies that cross its path.
- Super Kitty (3 VIP tokens): The Super Kitty is a time bomb that can be placed next to a bunch of monsters.
- Mega Kitty (4 VIP tokens): The Mega Kitty is like the Super Kitty but with a larger blast radius.
What are items? Items are pieces of equipment available at the shop that increase your pudding's total courage. Items come in the form of either railcar costumes or pudding costumes that make your pudding more frightening. Depending on how many VIP tokens they cost, items will increase your pudding's courage anywhere from 20% to 50% each. There are four railcar items and four pudding items. Railcar Items:
- Flames: +20% (1 VIP token)
- Spider: +25% (3 VIP tokens)
- Slime: +40% (6 VIP tokens)
- Baron: +50% (10 VIP tokens)
Pudding Items:
- Chocolate: +20% (1 VIP token)
- Vanilla: +25% (3 VIP tokens)
- Pudding Pride: +40% (5 VIP tokens)
- Kiss: +50% (10 VIP tokens)
The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic Reloaded Cheats
While there aren't any official cheats for The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic Reloaded, the game is largely based on strategy and we have compiled a list of tips to help you cruise through all 60 levels. Tip #1: The ride keeps turning right unless you can go straight.
- This is a good tip to keep in mind when planning out where to go next. Also, this will help you predict the movements of enemies and give you time to react accordingly.
Tip #2: Use the Track Changer to lead enemies away from you.
- While the track changer is primarily used for getting your pudding to specific places, you can also use it to redirect an enemies path if you don't have enough coins to use weapons.
Tip #3: Don't use the auto-follow camera feature.
- Instead of using the auto-follow camera feature, use your finger to maneuver the camera. This will let you see upcoming obstacles and enemies and will give you some time ahead to think of how to deal with them.
Tip #4: Use the Jack-in-the-Boxes to your advantage.
- Other enemies can be scared by Jack-in-the-Boxes too. Instead of clearing them out of the way and wasting a weapon, or running into them and taking the courage hit, try to direct your enemies into them to clear the path for you. This is a win-win, because it destroys your enemies and the Jack-in-the-Box.
Tip #5: Use the Booster to catch up to enemies.
- While the Booster is advertised as being good for running away from enemies, it works well for catching up to them too. Use it for when you need to quickly catch up to an enemy holding a key. All the others can just be left alone.
