Football Heroes is an arcade styled football game, so while it features all of your favorite things about football, there are quite a few additions. You can make your team and choose unique aspects about it such as your individual players, logo, and city. The game features an RPG-like XP system that allows your players to earn individual experience every time they play and level up so they can get new abilities and special moves. There is also a schoolyard brawl mechanic thrown into the mix, so you can play as rough as you want without incurring any penalties. Actually, the dirtier you play, the better you will do! Football Heroes has both single player and local multiplayer modes, with online multiplayer to be released. Currently, local multiplayer can be done over both WiFi and Bluetooth.

Football Heroes Tips, Hints, and Cheats
While there are no official cheats for Football Heroes, the gameplay is strategic, and we have compiled a list of all the best tips and hints so you can up your game. Read on for all of our Football Heroes tips!
Offensive Tips Tip #1: Drop the quarterback back to view all your options for a receiver.
- Once you hike the ball, bring your quarterback away from the line of scrimmage so you can see all the receiver options that might be open. This will give your quarterback much more room to make a pass.
Tip # 2: Run the ball if your receivers are all occupied.
- If your receivers are all covered by a defenseman, it is better to run the ball than to throw a pass that likely will not be caught. Either run the ball with the quarterback or hand it off to a running back.
Tip #3: Playing an easy team?
- If you are playing an easy team and are on offense, don't rush through the plays. The longer a play lasts, the more hits you can get with your players, which ultimately means more XP for leveling up.
Defensive Tips Tip #4: When the quarterback drops away from the line of scrimmage...
- If the other team's quarterback drops back (as we told you to do in Tip #1) then make sure you have a defenseman on every one of his receivers. This way, if the quarterback makes a pass, you are ensuring that there is no way it will be caught.
Tip #5: When the quarterback decides to run the ball...
- If the other team's quarterback decides to run the ball himself or hand it off to a running back, throw your defensemen at them with full force. This is a great opportunity to really see the game's fighting mechanic.
Miscellaneous Tips Tip #6: Time your power ups.
- Using a power up at the perfect moment can really push you ahead in a game. If you are on offense, it could result in you running the whole field. If you are on defense, it could bury the opposing teams offense and halt them completely.
Tip #7: Don't waste your coins on the bronze players.
- If you are considering buying new players (which you undoubtedly will) then it is worth it to save up for the silver players. By the time you have the money, most of the players you started the game with will have leveled up and will be better than the bronze players anyway.
Tip #8: Remember that everything earns you experience.
- Every time a player of yours does anything worth noticing, they will gain experience points. Try to implement several XP-worthy actions into one play, whether its running a few yards, dodging players, hitting players, or making multiple passes.
Tip #9: Switch up who you play with.
- Since your players get experience for almost everything, it is easy for large imbalances to form in your team if you are constantly playing between certain players. Switch up who you play with as often as possible so that you can have a well rounded team.
Tip #10: Replaying past games still gets you XP and coins.
- If you are stuck on a certain team and keep losing, don't mess up your team's record by continuing to try and fail. Instead, go back and replay previous games that you know you can win. These easier games will still get you XP and coins that you can use to level up your team until it is ready for the harder teams.
