Flying Cyrus Tip #3
- Cyrus is much easier to control than the protagonists of Flappy Bird and its other knock-offs are. She doesn’t fall nearly as fast, and it’s pretty easy to position her where you need her.
- That being said, the only issue with Cyrus is her massive head. It’s not as easy to thread her through the spaces as it was with Flappy Bird. If you think you have enough space to move up a couple of taps, you probably don’t. Keep her size in mind as you guide Cyrus forward.
Flying Cyrus Tip #4
- A good way to avoid losing control of Cyrus is to focus on the hammers and wrecking balls in the foreground of the game
- Unlike the more dynamic backgrounds of games like Splashy Fish and Flappy Bird, the background for Flying Cyrus is made up entirely of scrolling grey bricks. Any time your eyes catch sight of these bricks, it’s likely you will lose your rhythm. There’s something unsettling and hypnotic about the bricks that does more harm than good.
