The graph search will appear as a longer search bar on the top of your Facebook window. You can combine a set of phrases related to for main areas – people, photos, places, and interests, – to receive a customized set of results.
Examples of Searches in the Four Main Graph Search Areas
People – “Friends in New York,” “friends who live in my city,”people who like tennis”
Photos – “Photos of my friends,” “photos of Paris”
Places – “Restaurants in New York,” “countries my friends have visited”
Interests – “Music my friends like,”strategy games played by friends of friends”
Apart from traditional web search, Facebook Graph Search only delivers content that has been shared on Facebook in the search results.
