Begin reaching fishing points in Extreme Fishing 2 by taping the harbor on your main screen and depart on your first sail.

Tap the screen once to make a red dot and arrow appear.  Make the arrow stop moving by touching and holding the screen.  Try to stop the arrow so that it is pointing at the red dot.  This way you will catch a rarer fish.

An arrow power gauge will appear.  Release the screen to cast your fishing line.  The higher the power gauge is when you release, the further you will cast your fishing line.  Casting your fishing line further will lure a better fish.

A screen will pop up showing the path of the fish you have lured.  Use the white arrows to move your lure around obstacles and towards the fish.  Once the fish bites you will enter Battle Mode.

Once in Extreme Fishing 2’s Battle Mode, you must drain the fish’s stamina in order to catch it.  The fish’s stamina is indicated by the green gauge in the top left corner.  The fish’s tenacity is indicated by the purple gauge.  If the purple gauge reaches zero your fish will fun away. The blue gauge is the tension of the fishing line, which will snap if it stays at maximum for more than one second.  You also want to keep an eye on your own stamina, which is indicated by the red gauge.

Pull your fishing rod in the opposite direction that the fish is moving.  You can control your rod by pressing and holding the circle on the bottom left corner of the screen in the appropriate direction.  If the fish starts spinning out of control, indicated my red arrows moving in a circle, you should stop pulling your rod or you will loose your stamina.  If the fish starts swimming deeper, indicated my red arrows moving inwards, you should tap the screen repeatedly to drain the fish’s stamina.
