Draw Something Cheat and Tutorial

Draw Something is a new and addictive social drawing application for Apple iOS and Android by OMGPOP. Similar to the classic game of Pictionary, the Draw Something game lets you draw and guess words with your friends. Although Draw Something is a very straight forward game, there are a few cheats and tips that I have picked up along the way.  Below you will find my Draw Something cheat guide as well as a tutorial as to how to play Draw Something app.

How to Play Draw Something App

  1. Connect to stay playing with either your Facebook or email sign in.  Connecting to Facebook will make it easier to find friends to play Draw Something.
  2. Once you have found an opponent you will "draw one" of three words.  The three words range from easy, medium, to hard.  Easy earns one coin, medium earns two coins, and hard earns three coins.
  3. You can also use bombs to "get new words."  You can use the coins you use to gain more bombs.
  4. Once you have chosen your word to draw, tap your screen to being drawing.
  5. When you are drawing, you can tap the pen icon on the bottom left corner of the screen to change the size of your pen.  Tap the eraser icon to change the size of your eraser. To start over, tap the trash icon.
  6. On the top left of your screen you have four colors to chose from. You can get more colors using the coins you earn.

Draw Something Cheat Guide

  1. You can get new words for free by closing the app and opening it back up again.
  2. If you can't figure out what your opponent has drawn, take a screen shot of the letters you're given.  When you close the game and log back in you will be given new letters.  If you keep repeating you will notice which letters are most frequent and those are included in your answer.
  3. You can also use Scrubble Cheat.  Enter in all the letters you have and it will tell you every possible combination.

if I draw a 3 coin word to a friend and they guess it do I get the three coins our do they?

Yes, you get the same amount of coins also.

Yes you get the 3 coins as well.That is why i always do 3 coin words.

So if you get the coins as well as the person guessing, wouldn't you always have the same number of coins as your opponent? Example: You draw a 3-coin word, they guess it. You both get 3 coins. You draw a 2-coin word, they don't guess it. Nobody gets any coins. When is there an instance where you get coins and the other person doesn't?

You can guess as many times as you need so the turn doesn't end until you guess right or give up, in which case I don't think anyone gets the points. You will always get the same amount of points as your opponent but you can have different scores by playing other players.

The point of the game is to create the longest streak of correct guesses between the two of you.

How do you get extra colors? I see some people using other ones.

You can buy extra colors with your coins. While playing a game click on the Plus-icon, this will open the shop. And if you're stuck, check out drawsomethinghints.com. It has helped a lot

You have to purchase those with your coins. When its your turn to draw, click the + button beside your colors and you can choice the package you want.

you can "buy" more colors with the coins you earn from each win (249 coins to get a new set of colors) by clicking on the + next to the colors on your drawing board. or actually purchase more coind with real money (ie. $1.99 for 400 coins) and use that money to buy more colors.

Well Melissa ... You have to own an amount of money ( Coins ) like 290 I think in order to get a color collection pack to be added to your basic colors .. To do that only while drawing you will notice a + (plus) mark next to your colors (on your right) then all colors packs will appear if you have enough coins you can buy any of listed color packs there are maybe two packs which has all the colors .. Others just got one color starts light to dark ! try to avoid these packs its no use of it ! Good Luck Draw Something Nick Name: Overseas

you buy them for 249 tokens but you can only do it when you draw, click on the riht hand side of the colours

When you draw a picture, your colours are at the top. Next to it is a little plus sign, click that :D you need 249 coins to buy a colour pack, and you just earn them by playing the games. Hope it helped !! :)

Is there a way to play this over facebook without having the app? I see you can play draw my thing on facebook with people. But you can't invite the mobile users (to my knowledge). Thanks!

I've seen people erase a whole drawing without the eraser tool... it's as if they are "tearing off a new page." Does anyone know how to do this??

Push the garbage can button to "trash" your drawing, does not make your turn end...

PLease help: I have about 20 colors which I bought using coins I collected, but I can only see small part of them. I NOW CANNOT SEE BLUE OR RED. There is an arrow which shows me all the pallettes I have bought but I cannot use them, only the colors selected for me by the app. Any idea why?

I'm using email since I don't have Facebook. under my "current games" section, it shows my friends names as gobbly-gook starting with "omgpop...". is there a way to get their email or username to show up in my list of current games so I can tell who I'm playing each time? thx, robin

nevermind. I just deleted the app off my iPhone and reloaded it (paid another $1) but now I can see all my friends usernames that they added after they created their accounts...

You put your finger on the right side of your scene touching that persons name. Then you slide all the way the right and in the right hand side by there name it should say delete. Then you hit delete and they are gone

Slide from the right over to the left and click the red delete button. It works on my iPad so i hope it works on u

I cant find all of my facebook friends on my list in draw something paid version. How do i find them?

Just delete acount. It sound really risky but then when you go to create a new account using your old deleted accounts password e.c.t. Finally when you have it all up and running your drawsomething account will still be the same as it was before and all your faceboof friends will be on there. I tried this as one of friends suggested it and suprisingly it worked. Its actually the only way. xx

You can't but you can get free color packs just go to the bottom of the page on draw something then click game stuff and the first color pack will say whisper soft shades just click on it and it's free
