• Believe it or not, this is one of the trickiest parts of the game. You have to know what's coming from the top of the screen, but you also need to see when you've cleared an obstacle on the bottom.
• Tapping the sides of the screen in the very middle is a good strategy. You don't need to see what's in the middle nearly as much.

• It might sound like it's easier said than done, but quick reactions are your best friend in this game.
• As soon as you're clear of the previous obstacle, react to the next one. Large spikes come up fast and can destroy you easily.

dEXTRIS Tips #3: Don't Get Cocky

• The early stages are much slower compared to the later ones. As you get more skilled, you might feel like you can play around between spikes.
• You might be able to pull off "tricks," but it's not worth it. There are no achievements or multiplayer in this game, so you'd just be bragging to yourself. Lame.

• There are two different sizes of diamonds in dEXTRIS. The smaller one can be avoided by squeezing by on either side. You have to split your cubes to pass the larger one.
• Make things easier on yourself. Always split up when going around a diamond. You don't need to be thinking about what size the diamond is while you're in a rush. Splitting will always work.

• This game is sort of like a 2D endless runner. You'll die, and die often. But that's part of the fun--seeing how far you can get before fate catches up with you.
