Cut The Rope: Experiments Walkthrough of levels ‘Getting Started’ and ‘Shooting the Candy’

A follow up to the popular Cut the Rope, this new game, Cut The Rope: Experiments, features the same character, Om Nom, going through various types of Experiments by the mad scientist to catch his candy. Get the candy to Om Nom with ropes, shooters, bubbles, rockets and robo arms to name a few to unlock each new level. This is a walkthrough of the first two level packs you will need to get through to unlock the upper packs with more features than ever before.

1-1: Slide your finger from left to right along the dotted line to cut the rope [youtube\_sc url="6iA6gQ4LXjE"]

1-2: When the floating star is almost above Om Nom’s chair, cut the right rope and then the left rope straight afterwards to swing down and catch all three. [youtube\_sc url="mmfW13EAn34"]

1-3: Cut the top right rope to catch the bubble. Once the candy has floated back up close the the stars, cut the bottom rope. Once you’ve caught the first two stars, cut the last rope. Immediately after catching the third star, pop the bubble with your finger to let it fall. [youtube\_sc url="V1cxZABNksA"]

1-4: Cut the top rope any time to catch the first star and bubble. Cut the bottom rope when the top star is about halfway to coming back to the left so that you catch it as the candy floats up. Cut the last rope as the last star is almost in line with Om Nom and pop the bubble right away to catch the star and fall into Om Nom’s mouth. [youtube\_sc url="abYyYWXdr08"]

1-5: Tap the bottom air cushion enough to catch the first bubble. Float up to catch the first star, then blow the second air cushion to push the candy over to the second star. Then make sure you’re almost over the last star, pop your bubble and catch the second bubble with the star. Once you’ve floated back up to above Om Nom, pop the bubble. 1-6: Once the candy reaches just below the air cushions, blow it into the centre, then keep using the middle two cushions to push the candy down and catch the first two stars. Catch the third star by hitting the outer two air cushions repeatedly and quickly then make sure you’re still lined up with Om Nom and pop the bubble [youtube\_sc url="CV95-g0VJd8"]

1-7: Cut the first rope and the candy will drop down to get caught by three new ropes, catching a star and a bubble on the way. Cut the bottom rope to float up and catch the second star. Then pop the bubble and cut the left rope to swing down and catch the last star, then cut the rope when the candy is above Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="dezAFc2RQOM"]

1-8: Blow the candy up to catch one of the stars with a bubble, then let it float up and catch the second star. Pop the bubble and cut the top rope to let the candy swing back to the other side. Use the air cushion to blow the candy up to the last star and bubble. Once the candy is right below Om Nom, cut the rope to let it float up. [youtube\_sc url="dyrtkgU7Bwk"]

1-9: Cut the right rope to let the candy swing down and catch the bubble. Once you’re almost above the air cushion, cut the bottom rope and tap the air cushion to float up and catch all three stars as fast as possible. Pop the bubble above Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="1YHhCT0U4PQ"]

1-10: Cut the bottom two ropes right away. Cut the new left and right ropes as quick as possible. Then cut the bottom rope, catch the first two stars and cut the last two ropes quickly to catch the third star, then pop the bubble right away. [youtube\_sc url="uWmyPKJ9xtw"]

1-11: Pull the first slider across to the right gently to pull the candy down and catch the first star. Pop the bubble and cut the first rope. To be caught by the second slider. Pull the candy across to the left quickly so you go above the bubble, catch the star first, the bubble second. Cut the rope when the candy is beneath Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="a1cHIn0BvAU"]

1-12: Pop the first bubble so the candy falls to the second bubble. As the second bubble rises, bring the slider over to the left, then pop the second bubble when it’s near the top of your screen. The candy will fall into the third bubble and catch the rope. Slide the candy over to the right, cut the rope underneath Om Nom to catch all the stars first. [youtube\_sc url="UEnFR1gDhrI"]

1-13: Cut the bottom left and right ropes and pull the slider down to stretch the other ropes. When the two stars are about to hit the middle, cut the bottom rope to slingshot the candy up, then cut the right rope to get to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="9gB5s-nskNY"]

1-14: Blow the candy up, then use the top two air cushions to catch the stars before the bubble pulls the candy to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="-H\_pgWbjs40"]

1-15: Use the sliders to move the candy to the left and right to avoid the spikes. Get the bottom star first, then the top two, make sure you keep the candy in a bubble to reach Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="C9OAfbCcy2Q"]

1-16: Pull both sliders out to the side and cut the top rope to catch the bottom star. Then use the sliders to catch the last two stars. Cut the right rope, then the left rope once the candy is underneath Om Nom [youtube\_sc url="4SNuRz2A-\_k"]

1-17: Cut both ropes when the spikes are parallel vertical lines. Cut the second two ropes when the spikes are horizontal, catch the stars and pop the bubble to let the candy fall in between the spikes. [youtube\_sc url="O5NedendBPQ"]

1-18: Cut the rope when the candy is above the left bubble. Catch the left star, then use the air cushions to blow the candy over the other stars and bubble. The higher up the candy can float the better.  Pop the bubble, catch the other stars and second bubble. Use the air cushions to get the candy to float underneath Om Nom. 1-19: Cut the first two ropes to catch the first star and bubble. Cut the bottom two ropes at the last possible moment as the stars come together then pop the bubble to let the candy fall, catch the stars and get to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="R\_AK06E3oKo"]

1-20: Cut the rope right away, let the candy catch the bubble and float up, cut the ropes to let the candy travel up as quickly as possible. When it’s caught by the slider, pull it away from Om Nom and move it to catch all three stars before cutting the rope under Om Nom [youtube\_sc url="8xvlLsq9wrU"]

1-21: Just as the stars come back up and are in the middle of the platform, cut the rope and the candy will catch all three stars and float up to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="w1LrCM0Kq4I"]

1-22: When the candy is about to reach the first platform, cut the rope and it will bounce down catching all the stars and bubble to reach Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="Sp485vXxvnA"]

1-23: Let the candy catch all the stars on its own, and meanwhile move the slider all the way to the side. Cut the rope when the platforms are far apart as the candy swings back towards the side of the slider. Move to the slider to Om Nom [youtube\_sc url="NDWHejHMgpo"]

1-24: Similar to level 22, but use the air cushions to make the candy hit the platforms to bounce up in the bubble. Don’t let the candy float into the air cushions or the bubble will pop. [youtube\_sc url="Jd1v62xcZlk"]

2-2: Shoot the candy and cut the original rope when the candy is all the way to one side. Cut the rope over Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="MtS1qxiJvBE"]

2-3: Shoot the candy from both sides. Cut the top rope when all three stars are aligned to catch them all. Cut both remaining ropes to let the candy float up. [youtube\_sc url="W5eOm4YnWSU"]

2-4: Cut the rope to catch the first star then shoot the candy to catch again. Blow it over to the second star with the air cushion. Swing it back above the third star, cut the rope and shoot the candy again right after it catches the third star and swing to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="IsbroCZDiRM"]

2-5: Cut the rope when the bottom star is above the bubble to catch both. Let the candy bloat up to catch the second star then shoot it. Let the candy float over to above the last star, burst the bubble and cut the rope. [youtube\_sc url="HpXZdmRBoGU"]

2-6: Shoot the candy in its bubble, let it float up to the first star, cut the rope and catch with the next shooter. Repeat until you reach Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="GDWoIRUj\_I8"]

2-7: Cut the rope as the spikes reach all the way to the left side. Once the candy bubble floats back up, cut the rope underneath Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="YaTHhKRx3ww"]

2-8: Shoot with all four shooters to pull the candy down and catch all the stars. Cut all the ropes to let it float back up to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="WzLUP7B6aVg"]

2-9: Cut the rope, then shoot the candy just after it reaches the top of the spikes next to the shooter. Let it swing around to catch the star, cut the rope and again catch with the next shooter as it reaches the top of the spikes. Repeat once more, then burst the bubble and cut the rope above Om Nom. 2-10: Cut the rope and catch the candy in its bubble with the right shooter. Catch the first star. Shoot the candy with the second shooter, then cut the first shooter’s rope. Catch the second and third star. Cut the rope when the candy is below Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="bnHkoVsYlDw"]

2-11: Cut the rope and shoot the candy just as it passes the first shooter. Catch the first star, cut the rope, catch the same way with the second shooter. 2-12: Shoot the candy and let it bounce on the left platform to catch the first star and float up to catch the second and third. Burst the bubble and let it bounce off the left platform again, cut the rope so it bounces on the bottom platform and over to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="O34pmfyhnMA"]

2-13: Shoot the candy and cut the initial rope when the spider is quite close so as not to give yourself too much slack. Catch all three stars and cut the rope. [youtube\_sc url="wM4VlCai93c"]

2-14: Shoot the candy with the right shooter, let it float to vertical and cut the rope. Catch the first star, bounce off the right platform and shoot the candy with the second shooter just before it reaches Om Nom. 2-15: Cut the rope and pop the bubble quite quickly. Shoot the candy right as it bounces off the platform to bring it down to catch two stars and the bubble. As it floats back up, catch the third star and cut the rope when the candy is below Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="i3BxO05kFmY"]

2-16: Cut the rope and catch with the top right shooter, then the left shooter right away to catch the first star. Cut the right rope and catch with the bottom shooter just as the third star is caught. Cut the left rope to swing down to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="YWrYNmzVQEM"]

2-17: Use the air cushion to push the candy up towards the shooter. Shoot it to pull it around to the stars unless you’ve managed to swing the candy around full circle. Cut the ropes to let it fall to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="OwsiLfqROeg"]

2-18: Cut the rope as the spikes start going back down to catch the first star, burst the bubble after catch the second star to fall down and catch the last one before floating back up to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="lGp\_SUSGY1Y"]

2-19: This level is all about keeping a momentum going. Make sure to keep the candy swinging as you move along. Cut the rope and shoot the candy then let it swing around to catch the bubble and cut the rope before it reaches the star. This is a tricky one, just make sure the candy doesn’t end up directly above or below the shooter or else it won’t swing around. It works to burst the bubble first, right after catching the star, then shoot the candy as it falls down to gain momentum. [youtube\_sc url="CDPFyGn8YaA"]

2-20: Shoot the candy when it’s close to the shooter so as not to let it swing straight to Om Nom. Good to catch right as it hits the first star. Swing around the bubble, cut the rope and shoot the candy with the second shooter as you catch the second star. Cut the rope and burst the bubble. [youtube\_sc url="UjsBtSPFcag"]

2-21: Cut the bottom ropes one at a time to swing around the spikes. Cut the rope and shoot the candy with the right shooter then cut the rope as the regular star comes around. You need to shoot the candy with the left shooter low enough to catch the timed star so be careful as too low or too high and you can’t catch it before it runs out. [youtube\_sc url="\_fho9Sek9zs"]

2-22: Cut the rope just as it reaches all the way to the right to bounce down and shoot with the left shooter right away to pull it across and catch two stars. As soon as second star is caught, shoot with the right shooter to pull back across and get the third star then the platforms will bounce the candy back up to Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="QhxYzfl9mgA"]

2-23: Shoot the candy before cutting the first rope to let it swing. Cut the rope and shoot with the second shooter almost at the same time. Then shoot with the third shooter before cutting the rope, let it swing back and cut the rope above Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="fvCozIKthWg"]

2-24: Cut the rope and shoot with the top shooter almost as the candy reaches the bottom but not further than the stars and bubble. Catch all three, float of to catch the third then cut the rope with the spider on it and burst the bubble to reach Om Nom. [youtube\_sc url="35SEJgghtqc"]

2-25: Let the candy swing back the first time, then cut the rope the second time to lessen the momentum. Shoot the candy just as it hits the first star to swing and catch the second.
