Tip #3: On smaller jumps, use the tight tuck.
- Getting your gymnast’s body to come all the way around on the small jumps can be tough because you have to do it quickly. If you use the tighter tuck, rather than the jackknife tuck, it will spin his body around much faster.
Tip #4: On higher jumps, use the jackknife tuck.
- In contrast to Tip #3, use the jackknife tuck for the higher jumps. The jackknife tuck slows down the spin of your backflip so that you have more time to react when you want to untuck and land. For larger jumps with more air time this works well.
Tip #5: Use free play mode to your advantage.
- Yes, free play mode can be fun because you can mess around and have fun with the physics. However, free play mode also has some use that can help you progress. When in free play mode, if you tap the arrow pointing right in the top-left corner of your screen, your gymnast will teleport through each jump in the level. This is great for practicing backflips from each jump so that you can perfect them individually and then pass the level in normal play mode.
