- When you do this, use grenades to create a path through them. The grenades will help you to make your way out of the group, while killing many of them.

- When the zombies group together and form a herd, turn on them and throw grenades. Grenades will be most useful when thrown into a group of zombies.
- Also, look to do this when you have the buzz saw. The buzz saw will be most effective when used against a group of zombies.
- Be careful though, if you get caught with not enough grenades to kill them all you will turn into their lunch!
