Pokemon Shuffle is the first ever Pokemon game to be finally been released to mobile phones worldwide. Pokemon Shuffle is a match 3 type puzzle game where you have to clear stages by lining up pokemon to clear them from the puzzle area. There are some RPG elements where completing puzzles will help you collect new pokemon and defeat enemies. As you play, you will collect more pokemon that can be used to pass levels. The pokemon you collect can also be evolved. Overall, Pokemon Shuffle is a fun addition to the Pokemon universe, but it is definitely not anything like the Pokemon RPG games youve played on 3DS. Gameplay
Pokemon Shuffle is similar to other match 3 games like Bejeweled and Candy Crush. One difference is that in Pokemon Shuffle you can switch pieces anywhere on the board, and not just to adjacent spots. The more pokemon you can clear at once and the more combos you can pull off in a single move, the more points you will get. As a trainer, you have a maximum of five hearts. Playing a level uses up a heart. Each level also has a limited number of moves. To pass a Pokemon Shuffle level, you have to defeat the level before you run out of moves. Beating a level will also give you a certain number of coins, which let you buy useful items like +5 moves or additional experience points. Pokemon Shuffle starts off with a very detailed tutorial, making it a very easy game to pick up at any age.
Pokemon
The first pokemon you will encounter in Pokemon Shuffle is an Espurr. When a pokemon appears that you want to capture, you must tap it to be taken to the puzzle board. Beating the level successfully allows you to throw a pokeball to capture the pokemon. It’s important to remember that just because you beat the level doesn’t mean you will definitely catch the pokemon! Some pokemon are rarer than others and have a lower catchability rate. Beating the level makes the catchability rate better, but doesn’t always make it a 100% success rate. Once you catch a pokemon, you can set it as one of your “support pokemon”, and use it to help you in future puzzle battles. Some pokemon may have special abilities that can help you pass more difficult levels.
