Tap Tap Revenge Tour by Tapulous masters the mobile music rhythm game genre with its latest release in the Tap Tap series. Just like Guitar Hero or Rock Band, Tap Tap Revenge Tour turns you into a virtual rock star as you jam out on your Tap Tap guitar. Available acts to play include popular remixed songs like Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen to hard rock songs like The Ardent Optimist by Across The Sun and dubstep remixes like Avicii’s Levels (Skrillex Remix).
When your virtual band begins touring you have a limited selection of free songs to choose from. As you advance from opening act, to supporting act, to headliner, you will receive picks and notes for completing acts. Once you have collected enough notes, the virtual currency of Tap Tap Revenge Tour, a whole library of music will open up for you to buy. Extra songs are also available for in-app purchase with real money.
“Notes” can also be used to purchase superficial items for your band’s “Wall.” Your Wall is basically like your band’s greenroom or tour bus that can be decorated with items bought in the store using notes. Unless you have a ton of notes saved up or have an undying urge to interior decorate your band’s pad, notes are better off being used to purchase more songs and expand your music library.
How To Play Tap Tap Revenge Tour
The gameplay of Tap Tap Revenge Tour is the same as any other music rhythm game. Music notes will fly down the bars and you have to tap, hold, slice, or shake the note when it hits the active area. Tap Tap Revenge Tour is no game changer in the rhythm game genre, but the updated music library and detailed gameplay make Tap Tap Revenge Tour an impressive iOS application.

Tap Tap Revenge Tour Modes
You can play Tap Tap Revenge Tour in two different modes – Tour Mode and Jam Mode. In Tour Mode you will be able to play an opening act, supporting act, and headliner act in a new city every day. You will also be able to claim rewards to decorate your Tour Wall while playing in Tour Mode. After you claim your reward you can play an encore 1 and encore 2 in Tour Mode to unlock your EPIC reward. However, after you are done with all your acts and bored of playing with your Tour Wall in Tour Mode, you can play endlessly in Jam Mode. In Jam Mode you can practice your Tap Tap Revenge skills and discover new featured tracks for as long as you want.
Tap Tap Revenge Tour Tips
– Hand positioning is key in Tap Tap Revenge Tour Tips. The two thumb method may be easier for you when in sound check or medium difficulty, but once you reach hard and extreme difficulty it will be hard to use two thumbs when you must hit three notes at the same time. When you have to hit three notes at the same time it is best to use the index, middle and ring finger strategy. Start off in sound check or medium until you are comfortable with this hand position before moving onto hard or extreme.
– Focus on the rhythm on the song, not on when the notes visually reach the active area.
