100 Floors Review, News, Commentary and What’s Next? 100 Floor Release Schedule
We love 100 Floors because of the creativity the good folks at Tobi Apps have designed into their latest labor of love. Whether we are knocking down ladders with a quick phone shake on level 5, wipping cobwebs and dust from clear elevator windows on level 19 or guessing lock combination codes by keying in the date of Christmas on level 52, we want to progress through the game just to see what could be next. 100 Floors is one part puzzle and one part guide to just how high our modern generation of phone applications can soar. Mutting your phone to progress to the next level because the a large hand is gesturing the universal sign for “silent” (Level 40), is brilliant.
So what is next for 100 Floors? We have, presumably, 45 floors left before the game fulfills its promise… Certainly Tobi is going to need to pull a couple more tricks out of its sleeves if it wants to continue to tickle our puzzle taking collective with multi-sensory (phone sensory that is) experiences. Perhaps you will have to take a picture of a QR code buried somewhere online and allow the app to confirm you got the right one – turing 100 floors into a webwide scavenger hunt… Or maybe you’ll have to play Simon Says with various phone resources in specific order and time intervals. One thing is for sure, as soon as the next set of floors come out the community here at CoolAppsMan will be hard at work to crack the puzzle.
Given Tobi’s previous release schedule for 100 Floors, we predict another set of levels as soon as this Friday June 1, 2012. We will update this post the moment the next release starts pushing through our variety of mobile devices here at CAM central.
In a parting word – even if you find you are frustrated playing 100 Floors all the way through and become tempted to drop it until some other time in the future – might we suggest another course… Give each level a quick attempt, see what you can figure out, and then reach for the answer in our walkthrough, or any of the others available online. We think the puzzle makers creativity is worth navigating through fully. Consider each floor performance art to be ingested, or a primer for how you will be interacting with apps and your mobile device in the future. CAM gives 100 Floors 5 out of 5 stars for both fun, creativity and ingenuity… Oh, and you can’t beat free 😉
