First came and the 4 Pics 1 Word style of trivia games that opened people’s eyes and minds to app games for iOS and Android devices. Then the gates were flooded with replicas of 4 pic style games. Now, there’s a changing of the guard when it comes to icon and picture games- Movie trivia games with 4 pics and icon style games are going to take over the app world pretty soon. We’ve already seen it with Guess the Movie and What’s the Movie? by James Porter, but it’s really starting to take off now!
And What’s The Movie? – Guess the Pic Word Game is going to fit in just well with this new wave of popular movie trivia games.
Here’s how it works- You’re going to get one icon that is related to a particular movie. Then you’re going to get a letter bank below and a some blank spots above, and you’re going to guess what movie it is–based off of that one icon. Yeah, so not that much different than the other icon games and 4 pics games out there–but still, it keeps you engaged and they get pretty tricky, too.
But the other thing is, the hints, yeah…they’re not so great. Pretty generic, especially if you’ve been playing as many trivia game as we have. And, surprise, they don’t give you that many coins and the hints will cost you a lot of coins!
