Secret Passages: Hidden Objects takes place from the perspective of Maddie, a young explorer. The object of the game is to uncover hidden objects, trade and them sell them for gold coins and then You use coins to unlock and explore new locations. In order to uncover hidden objects, you'll use energy to enter a location and be presented with a colorful scene. Find the objects listed by tapping on them. You get a bonus score for speed but also for accuracy. These points add up to earn you a shovel. The purpose of the shovel? To allow you to enter dig sites and uncover coins, rubies and more! The objects (or relics) need to be traded in in given combinations to earn coins. Not all locations can be opened or accessed just with a set amount of coins, sometimes you need keys. When a key is needed, the game will prompt you to go to a dig site. There, you'll pick an area to dig, use your finger to swipe the dirt away and hopefully uncover something of use for your challenge. There are also set tasks you can complete to earn extra coins. Like many action games, you have a limited amount of energy. It will increase with every level up and in order to search for relics, you'll need energy. If you run out, you can patiently wait out the clock or use the in app purchases to buy more energy. Rubies are the valuable currency, you'll be given 60 rubies to start and you can use them to buy energy packs. This game is slow going but beautifully done and very engaging! If you're willing to be patient, it won't cost you anything.

I am on level 10 and have not had an increase in energy from the original 100. How do you get more. Love the game, but would like to play more than 4 scenes a time.

It automatically adds time back. You just take a break and come back later and the time will be replenished.

Help! My backpack is full and the relics I have in my pack I cannot trade for coins. How do I clear some relics out of my pack?

Why can't we be allowed to sell or trade unused relics for coins?

To delete items in your backpack: From Menu/book icon (bottom right) choose the Inventory/backpack icon. Follow instructions to delete. If you have multiple copies of same relic, you can choose how many you want to delete.

Click on Menu. Select Relics from the drawer. Hit the Delete button. Select the object you want to delete. A window will pop up and you can change the number of that one item you want to remove. Select Delete.

How do I use candy bars and coffee? I can't even locate where they are

You use them for energy. If you have any when you try to enter a location and are low they will ask if you want to use them. You find them in the dig sites or you can buy them.

When I run out of energy I press on the search 24 button like I'm going to do a search but since I'm out of energy it will take me to where my extra energy is at....that is where I find the coffee and stuff.

1). I am trying to complete a challenge which is: someone knows who I am and I am to find his bowler hat at the British isles inn. I find a bowler hat, but nothing happens. I have to complete this twice, 2). My time has never increased from 100, why. 3). I don't understand why it sometimes says you havr 3to go, go before they start counting for me to use. Sometimes they decrease w/o me doing anything... Great game...

@the first question....you only receive the bowler hat as a reward if it is listed at the bottom of the screen. Some games you will see it but if its not listed as an item to find you get nothing....try again.

I unlocked the Kyoto ruins scenario, but now to upgrade it, I need to use rubies... By doing so, will I get rubies when I sell the relics from there?

I have finally unlocked the fume to get the silver spikes. I ha e searched it numerous times yet it still says I need to find the silver spikes. What is going on?
