There are two different types of screens in Monster Busters. The first screen shows you in the Monster Tower. This screen helps you navigate the game. After you beat all the levels on a floor, a ladder will appear that will lead your character up to the next floor. After you beat a level, you are allowed to go back and replay it again. The puzzle screen appears in Monster Busters when you tap on the level's door and start playing the actual puzzle. To bust the monsters, you have to match 3 of the same color in a row. These are the types of monsters:

• Poison Monster (purple).
• Fire Monster (red).
• Lightening Monster (yellow).
• Water Monster (blue).
• Wind Monster (white).
• Stone Monster (brown).

If you match 4 or more monsters in a row, you'll make specials. Specials are monsters with effects that will help you bust more monsters. Examples of specials:

• Horizontal bombs.
• Vertical bombs.
• Cross Bombs.
• Magic Hammer.
