Link Gugl, another popular game this week, is a fairly entertaining – and certainly colorful – mobile game.
While the purpose of the game is nothing new – tapping and dragging to connect dots of the same color – it is a fresh look on an old game. Link Gugl requires players to connect a certain amount of dots of varying colors in a limited amount of time. It sounds easy, but in order to connect the dots they must be in increments of three or more, so connecting two side-by-side dots won’t be enough. The stress multiplies tenfold when the timer gets close to the zero mark, though, and players begin to frantically search for dots to connect.
Link Gugl is split up into different categories: Levels, which is the standard playing type; Time Limit, which gives players 60 seconds to get the highest score possible; Longest Chain, which again gives players 60 seconds to get the longest chain of connected dots possible; Clean, which requires players to clear as many dots as possible from the screen; and Kid, which highlights connected chains for you to clear with a simple time limit.
Simply said, Link Gugl is fun. Even I was distracted while trying to write this review, frequently finding myself going back to the game to try and clear that one level.
