Previously a solitary player game, Bookworm Heroes has added a multi-player component, where users can either play against a computer, friend, or other random iOS user. To play BookWorm Heroes you must spell out the words from a grid of letters on your screen in order to defeat your opponent. If you don’t act quickly enough, your enemy can snatch tiles from your screen, and bang you on the head to gain points and coins. Game Objective- Build words, whomp on your friends, and become a bookworm hero! This game challenges your vocabulary and creativity while also making think on your feet. Each player has a keyboard which they can choose their letters from. Certain letters are worth more than others, and the objective is to get the highest points from the words you display. Once you submit your word, your opponent will be smacked on the head depending on the number of letters you used and vice versa. You have the option to purchase more coins for different letters and hints, and also for selecting the player you’d like to use. The strongest and most versatile players cost the most coins, and the weakest, the Turtle, the least. It’s simple yet fun, and forces you to think on your feet! The players you can select as your representative can do various things from smashing your opponent’s tiles, smashing tiles to make them worthless, stealing letters from your opponent to make larger words, spilling ink on your enemy’s tiles, or even stealing points from your challenger. In addition to your “hero” that you have hired, you can also hire a pet to help you. Each pet has a unique power ranging from boosting coins, freezing tiles, and changing letters.
