MiniMega has created a stylish way to play short but hard word puzzles on your phone or tablet. Crosswords are so twentieth century! Even New York Times crossword editor Will Shortz raves about Bonza, so why wouldn’t you play? When you start playing, you’ll see a series of simple puzzles in the Starter Pack. These are meant to teach you how to play, but can be difficult in their own way. After you complete the Starter Pack, you can move on to the main game and try your hand at advanced Bonza answers.
The controls for Bonza couldn’t be more simple. Just drag the boxes of letters next to each other to form words. You can’t just make any words you want, though. You need to look for words that go with the puzzle clue. You can reference the clue at the top of the screen at any time. Some Bonza levels will have mystery clues, where you’ll only see the first letter. These can be very tough until you’ve found a word or deduced the clue.
To make finding Bonza answers easier, think of the puzzles like you would a game of Scrabble. You need to match combinations of letters that go together to make sense of them. For example, if you have a small block with the letters “TI,” you might want to look for other blocks with letters like “ON” or “NG.” This will help you make words even if you have no idea what the clue is yet.
Of course, MiniMega would never abandon you to figure out all the Bonza answers yourself. There’s an in-game hint utility for you. If you can’t grasp any Bonza answers, tap the hint icon in the top right corner. For fifty coins, the game will assemble a word for you. Considering how many words are in each puzzle and that you only get five coins for a completed puzzle, this is pretty expensive. You can ask your friends too, but are they reliable?
