Backflip Madness tips, hints, and cheats are now here on Cool Apps Man! Start tumbling like an olympic gymnast in no time, through all the crazy environments and levels that the game has to offer with our tips, hints, and cheats! Backflip Madness, a physics-based parkour and gymnast game, is developed by Gamesoul Studio and is available on Android and iOS, for iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad. Read on for all the tips, cheats, and hints you need to know to be an acrobatic professional in Backflip Madness! Backflip Madness is a parkour and gymnastics game where the player controls every movement of the leotard-donning, ragdoll character in an attempt to perform perfect backflips. There are numerous levels and environments, and as you progress you will take your backflip skills out of the gym and into the streets for more parkour-flavored gameplay. There are 8 levels that become increasingly more elaborate and farfetched -- the last level will even have you backflipping through a desert canyon! The player controls every aspect of their character's backflip, including jumping, tucking, releasing, and landing. There is one button to control all of these actions, and your success depends on how well you can time each action. If you fail and wipe out, the game's physics system ensures that you know, and will twist and contort your character's body in every painful way imaginable. It's a tricky game that takes some getting used to, but hopefully our guide can get you a head start!
Backflip Madness Cheats
While there are no official cheats for Backflip Madness, we have compiled a list of tips and tricks that will make the game a little easier on you, as well as more fun.
Backflip Madness Tips and Tricks Guide
Tip #1: Don't let the incredibly hard first level get you down.
- The first level is incredibly hard. Don't let it get to you if you fail ten times, or even fifty times (it will happen). Instead, stick to it and look at the first level as practice for the rest of the game. By the time you beat it, you will no doubt have the skills to take on the rest of the game.
Tip #2: Tap the action button faster on smaller jumps.
- On jumps where you take off and land on the same platform, you don't have much time to get in every aspect of your flip. Tap the button faster than you would normally, and most of the time your gymnast will land it.
Tip #3: On smaller jumps, use the tight tuck.
- Getting your gymnast's body to come all the way around on the small jumps can be tough because you have to do it quickly. If you use the tighter tuck, rather than the jackknife tuck, it will spin his body around much faster.
Tip #4: On higher jumps, use the jackknife tuck.
- In contrast to Tip #3, use the jackknife tuck for the higher jumps. The jackknife tuck slows down the spin of your backflip so that you have more time to react when you want to untuck and land. For larger jumps with more air time this works well.
Tip #5: Use free play mode to your advantage.
- Yes, free play mode can be fun because you can mess around and have fun with the physics. However, free play mode also has some use that can help you progress. When in free play mode, if you tap the arrow pointing right in the top-left corner of your screen, your gymnast will teleport through each jump in the level. This is great for practicing backflips from each jump so that you can perfect them individually and then pass the level in normal play mode.
The developer, Gamesoul Studio, threw a few hidden tricks into Backflip Madness that add a whole new element to the game and make it more fun. They are: Trick #1: In free play, tap the screen 5 times to turn on lunar gravity mode.
- Lunar gravity mode turns off most of the gravity in the game so that your gymnast is able to jump much higher. Also, lunar gravity doesn't drag your gymnast back to the ground as quickly, so you have significantly more air time. This mode is only available in free play, but it is fun to mess around with and see how many wild flips you can do with your gymnast.
Trick #2: Touch and drag your player after a failed flip to toss him around the level.
- This trick is available during both free play and normal play modes. After you fail a jump, don't press the action button to reset your gymnast. Instead, touch your gymnast and drag around the screen to toss him around the level. Also, you can touch the various objects in-game and throw them around and make a mess of the level. While it doesn't serve much purpose, it is certainly fun to fool around with.
