Another Case Solved Cheats #1: Look for Big Combinations

• When looking for clues, you'll have have to investigate the right way. Each witness will provide you with a hot tip if you collect the icons in their word balloon. Collecting a lot of these icons at once will create hard evidence, which you need for later puzzles.
• In the screenshot above, our player has to collect quotes, then magnifiers. Grabbing all 12 of the connected quote balloons will get 2 pieces of hard evidence and satisfy one witness' requirements.

Another Case Solved Cheats #2: Move Similar Tiles Together

• Difficult cases will have more witnesses to question in the same number of moves. Make your moves strategically to conserve turns and get hard evidence.
• Take the above example. Collecting the five upper right magnifiers will satisfy one witness. This will drop footprints down a few rows and create a piece of hard evidence. Then our player can collect nine (or more) footprints at once, satisfying another witness and creating more hard evidence.

Another Case Solved Cheats #3: Concentrate on Hard Evidence

• You'll notice we've been paying a lot of attention to "hard evidence." The various photos, fingerprints, badges, and so on that you collect will be helpful in puzzles after the tile-matching ones. Each piece of hard evidence can be created by collecting the icons above it in this picture.
• Maps, photos, and fingerprints are especially important in the early game. You'll try to locate places using maps, identify suspects using photos, and get closer to evidence with fingerprints. Each of these puzzles will also use regular icons as well, but having plenty of hard evidence is your best chance of solving each case.

Another Case Solved Cheats #4: Remember Your Requirements

• In each level, there will be different ways to get 3 full stars. Try to remember what requirements you need to meet in order to get the most stars possible. More stars will make you level up faster and get candy.
• You'll also need to start collecting minimum amounts of hard evidence in later puzzles. Once you've questioned each witness, use spare turns to gather more evidence and meet your requirements.

• You can't stay a rookie forever. Solving cases will allow you to accumulate stars, which can be spent on new skills. Use these in puzzles to make them easier to solve. Using a skill will require you to spend resources you collect during matching puzzles.
• You may want to concentrate in a specific skill track or spread your stars out more widely. Think about what kind of puzzles you need the most help with. Concentrate on buying new skills in that track.
