Guillaume Coulbaux is a quiz app veteran. His previous games include Foods Quiz and Fashion Logos Quiz, both on the App Store. You can tell he’s no stranger to the “guess the word” genre of games. Anime Quiz plays just like all the other quiz games you’ve come to know and love. You will see a different picture in each level. The pictures are all taken from popular anime series. It might be a screenshot of something happening in the show. More likely, though, it will be a piece of promotional art showing one or more major characters. You will need to identify the characters in the picture and match them with the name of a cartoon in your head.
Once you think you have figured out the answer to a level of Anime Quiz, enter the name in the blanks. This is done by typing out the answer with the letter bank under the picture. Not all the letters in the bank will be used. Some of them are just there to confuse you. Look for letters that appear three or even four times in the bank. IF a letter is that common, the chances are good that it will appear somewhere in the answer. You can use this to give yourself a hint if you’re really stuck.
You don’t have to rely only on yourself, though. The game will also give you some hints. You can buy help on any level with coins you earn for correct answers. You can pay 60 coins to reveal a correct letter at random. You can also pay 30 coins to remove any extra letters from the bank. This is more helpful with short answers you don’t know.
