7 Little Words is a simple word guessing game, though its simplicity should not take away from how much fun it is to play.
So far, 7 Little Words has proved to be more entertaining – even more difficult, and certainly more playable – than a lot of the other guessing games we’ve looked at thus far. Its layout is reduced to a couple of colors, the text is easily read, and it runs a lot smoother than some other quiz apps. 7 Little Words takes (as the name might suggest) seven words, a handful of letters, an infinite number of attempts, and instructs the player to connect different letter tiles to spell out a word that correlates to one of the seven previously listed words.

For instance, one clue in 7 Little Words might say “rabbit food” – players would then look for tiles that, together, would spell out “carrot” (ca+rr+ot, something like that).
To add marks, 7 Little Words is also free, and we don’t just mean “the game is free but the in-game hints cost real-life money”. The whole game, hints included, is free. When a player goes to use a hint, the game will offer the players chances to pay for hints, but also provides the option of using 15 free hints. In a nutshell, 7 Little Words is a free-to-play game that takes donations, rather than forcing players to fork over more money than the app is worth.
There are three main hints for 7 Little Words. One hint shows the whole word players are supposed to be looking for, one reveals a single letter, and the last one shows a certain tile. That said, the game isn’t all that difficult if you just put your mind to it.
