Tip #2: Remember the Objective

• Unlike normal 2048, your objective will change from level to level. Sometimes you'll have to get a specific tile, but you might just have to get a certain amount of points.
• Points are much harder to rack up in 2048 Plus Challenge Edition than in original 2048. If you have a point minimum and a turn cap, make sure you combine tiles as quickly as possible. Corner method!

Tip #3: Work Around Stone Blocks

• Stone blocks are the first obstacles you'll find in 2048 Plus Challenge Edition. Strategy for these is pretty simple. Keep them as far away from your high-value tiles as you can.
• Having stone blocks next to tiles limits the number of other tiles that can be adjacent. Pile up stones in a corner so they don't block anything important.

Tip #4: Use Stars Wisely

• Stars are another new addition to 2048. But these blocks are definitely not obstacles. Stars can be matched with any tile, doubling its value instantly.
• You can use a star to double the value of your best tile. Our player in the screenshot above can make his 16 tile into a 32, which is a great 2048 Plus Challenge Edition strategy.
• Stars will combine with the first tile they run up against. Make sure you use them on the highest possible tile.

Tip #5: Beware the Division Tiles

• Division tiles are like the opposite of stars. When combined with a tile, they'll divide its value in half. The only tiles they can't combine with are 2s.
• Keep these monsters away from your high-value tiles! They can ruin a game in one move. Take each turn slowly if you know there will be division tiles on the board.
